Dorsa's project management efforts on this interior design project ensured the project was completed under budget and on time. The client's sought out Sogol Décor's design-build and project management services to transform their new home into a sanctuary in the renowned Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Dorsa worked closely with the client and contractors to ensure that the design vision was achieved. The home was transformed into an open floor layout with the removal of several interior walls and a new modern cable railing design. The home was furnished with hand selected custom furnishings from Italian and European manufactures, including several pieces sourced during Sogol and Dorsa's annual visit to the Maison et Objet trade show in Paris, France.
Dorsa's roles included contract management, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, interdisciplinary coordination and construction administration with the contractor, electrician, flooring and fireplace specialists, etc., while also closely collaborating with the principal designer, Sogol, on project direction and curation.
