Dorsa joined her mom, Sogol, in 2018 as Managing Director and transformed the 20+ years of business into a more profitable, systematic, and efficient business.
Sogol Décor's mission is to create beautifully-crafted, functional spaces that represent a client’s heart and mind while focusing on the design of cost-effective interiors that combine the client’s personality, an artist’s creativity and the handcrafted touch of local artisans and worldwide brands. The mother-daughter duo has traveled extensively to international trade and art shows to source unique, one-of-a-kind design solutions and products for their clientele.
With Dorsa's leadership and project management, Sogol Décor has been able to expand its scope of services, project budgets and innovative design-build solutions while doubling the project load. Dorsa is responsible for all business administration and project management, including contract management, budgeting, interdisciplinary coordination and construction administration, while closely collaborating with the principal designer on project direction and curation.
